The Tuckasiegee River Mountain Lodge is much more than a cookie cutter bed and breakfast. From the moment you spot the Lodge on your trek up the1.4 mile paved mountain road, you will reflect back on a time long past. Many people liken the Lodge’s appearance to an American castle. Others are amazed at the grandeur of the stonework lay down for the wealthy families that occupied it in the 40’s and 50’s. We hope you will see it as a retreat from the hectic life we all seem to lead.

Upon entering the Grand Salon, you will be wrapped in the mood of the 1940’s and 1950’s. That mood continues into all rooms at the Lodge from your room or suite, to the Event / Meeting Room where we offer TV Programs from the 50’s on the large screen TV in the afternoons.
In the dining room we offer you a full service menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
You can be served at private tables or join others at the larger tables either way, you will receive quality food and and personal service. The Soda Fountain located in the dining area is used weekly for ice cream socials and special gatherings. A poodle skirt or greased hair is not necessary for the gathering room, but you might feel comfortable wearing one as you jitterbug to our jukebox’s tunes.
